Arts and culture create lively communities where people want to live, work and play. In a new creative economy, arts and culture are essential to Niagara’s sustainable future.

The St. Catharines & Area Arts Council exists to make the arts part of everyone’s life and works to enhance the cultural life of Niagara and to promote the social and economic value of the arts.

The St. Catharines & Area Arts Council promotes the artistic life of Niagara, brings artists together to share resources and ideas and to develop professionally, creates opportunities for them to develop and showcase their work, and advocates on their behalf. With the support of its members, donors and volunteers, the Arts Council helps ensure a successful future for local artists and a lively and sustainable future for all Niagara residents.
